Just for fun, I wanted to create an interactive art piece… and what better way to do interactive than TikTok?! Combining my love for world building, story-telling, video editing, and illustration, I created (and am still creating!) a TikTok Choose-Your-Own-Adventure.
You begin with a choice: Your character.
I wanted the viewers to be able to see themselves in their own story, so being able to pick a character that you identify with was priority number one!
I initially wanted to create four characters to choose from, but I ultimately decided against it because the amount of story lines would most likely be too much to handle. (Two characters is already too much lol).
Each character had their own separate choice of magical item, as well as a choice of adventure location.
Letting the viewers lead the way, I use their comments to move the story along.
